How to I make arrangements to baptize my child?
- Contact the office and make an appointment to meet with Father Henry and to fill out the basic paperwork. Bring with you a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
- Parents and Godparents must complete a baptism class. It is here in the valley and takes about one hour to complete
- Traditional offering to the church is $50. It can be more if you wish.
How do I request a Mass be said for someone?
- Contact the office to see what days are available. You can leave a message on the answering machine or email the secretary at stjohn@mvdsl.com.
Why is there such a long pause during the consecration?
Because Fr. Henry is giving you the time to remember all of your departed loved ones by name during this sacred part of the Mass.
